Estee Lauder Companies Inc announced plans to add the use accessories company Coach Inc to it’s already existing global Coach Beauty business. Coach has been in partnership with EL since 2006.
The Coach beauty and fragrance lines have been available directly through Coach stores in the United States. The new plan will adde the line directly to retail specialty shops and department stores.
North America will see the Estee Lauder and Coach expansion immediately with the launch of Coach’s Signature Perfume in Belk, Bloomingdales, Dillard’s, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Sephora outlets. The signature Coach perfume will launch globally following the North American release.
“Initial success in our own stores serves to underscore the potential for Coach Beauty with a more extensive distribution network and with the support of BeautyBank and Aramis & Designer Fragrances,” commented Coach’s president of US Wholesale and Global Licensing, Kathy Nedorostek.
